1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Spray & Lay – Patios & Driveways, a pressure washing and outdoor surface repair and restoration company serving the South East of England.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please contact us:

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us through the contact form on this website. This may include:

  • Your full name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address (optional)
  • The service you are enquiring about
  • Any additional details you choose to provide in the message field

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics tools that collect personal data. We do not collect any data automatically from visitors who do not submit the contact form.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you submit solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide a free quote
  • Contact you to arrange a site visit or discuss your requirements

We will never use your data for unsolicited marketing, and we will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, our legal basis for processing your personal data is legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to a direct enquiry you have chosen to send us. By submitting the contact form, you are initiating contact with us and we process your data only to the extent necessary to respond.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your contact details only for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting work. If no work is carried out, we will not retain your details beyond the period needed to respond to your enquiry. If we carry out work for you, we may retain your contact details for up to two years for the purposes of warranty, follow-up, or future service enquiries.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Third-Party Services

Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form submission service. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to Web3Forms' servers and forwarded to our email address. Web3Forms stores submissions for up to 30 days on their free plan. Please refer to the Web3Forms Privacy Policy for further details.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking services on this website.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct any inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request that we delete your personal data
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — object to our processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We recommend checking this page periodically.
